Meet Carol
Our Founder
In 2000, I embarked on a journey into the world of puppetry and became a professional puppeteer. I now travel with over 45 puppets, bringing joy and lessons to audiences far and wide. That same year, I began visiting schools and churches to teach both adults and children about the word of God through drama and puppetry. In 2002, I founded a school of puppetry, where children can learn the art of puppetry and scriptwriting.
As I continued this path, I felt a profound calling in my life. I realized my true passion was working with youth, and thus, Peculiar Treasure Outreach Ministries was born. The goal of Peculiar Treasure is to support young people who are striving to overcome various challenges. Many young individuals lack the skills to understand the consequences of their actions. Through teaching the word of God using stage and puppetry, we aim to equip them with the tools they need to make wise choices. Our mission is to instill a strong moral compass that will guide them to become successful young adults.
From a young age, I understood that I could touch lives with the love of God, combined with my passion and skills in stage and drama. Children face many pressures—bullies, peer pressure, and home life issues—just as adults do. They need outlets and support. Today, we see too many children transitioning from school to jail. Peculiar Treasure is dedicated to changing these statistics by providing youth with alternative resources and guidance.
